In trading on Friday, non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.9%. Helping drag down the group were shares of AK Steel Holding , down about 4.7% and shares of Northern Dynasty Minerals Limited down about 4% on the day.
